Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
Please read these Terms of Service before using DietCare or booking a consultation.
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the DietCare website and related appointment booking and dietitian consultation services. By using the website or booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Website Access
Most public areas of the DietCare website can be accessed without creating an account or logging in. An account may be required for certain features, including managing bookings or accessing authenticated services.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account or making a booking.
3. Accounts and Authentication
Where an account is required, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
DietCare may provide email/password authentication and optional Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by unauthorized access outside your reasonable control.
4. Appointments and Bookings
Appointments are requested through the DietCare booking system. Submitting a booking request does not necessarily mean that the appointment has been confirmed.
An appointment becomes confirmed after the DietCare team verifies the booking and, where applicable, verifies payment.
5. Payment
Where payment is required, DietCare will provide the applicable payment instructions through the website or booking process.
For bank-transfer payments, you may be required to provide a payment reference or related information so that the booking can be verified.
A booking may remain pending until the payment has been verified.
6. Appointment Confirmation
After a booking is confirmed, DietCare may send confirmation details to the email address or contact information associated with the booking.
For online consultations, the confirmation may include an online meeting link or other instructions required to attend the appointment.
7. Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations and appointment changes are subject to the cancellation cut-off and policies displayed by DietCare.
DietCare may cancel or reschedule an appointment when necessary, including because of dietitian availability, technical problems, unforeseen circumstances or other operational reasons.
8. Late Arrival and No-Show
Patients are expected to attend their appointment at the scheduled time. If you are late or fail to attend, the consultation may be shortened, rescheduled or treated as a no-show according to the clinic's applicable policy.
9. Online Consultations
Online consultations require a suitable internet connection and compatible device. DietCare is not responsible for interruptions caused by the patient's internet connection, device, third-party communication platform or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. Nutrition and Medical Disclaimer
DietCare provides nutrition and dietetic guidance through qualified dietitians. Information provided through the website or consultation is intended to support nutrition and health management and should not be understood as a substitute for emergency medical care.
DietCare does not provide emergency medical services through this website. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your nearest emergency medical service or hospital immediately.
You should provide your dietitian with accurate and relevant health information so that the consultation can be conducted appropriately.
